Tito is the observer, thinker and problem solver

With a strong foundation in creative brand-building, Tito is driven by narrative and a strong architectural intuition. Having learnt the efficacy of merging bold design & brand strategy at acclaimed New York agency YARD, Tito went on to oversee marketing for Architectural Digest Top 100 architect Russell Groves. Here he refined his outlook on the intersection of architecture, design and commerce.

He has worked as an agent & strategist at Tungsten Partners—a New York based firm best known for pioneering the development & partnerships of The Ace Hotel brand. At Tungsten, he advised and represented residential & retail clients in hospitality, media, art, entertainment and technology.

Now, at the helm of Alta Projects, Tito brings strong perspective through his take on spatial and experience design. With a keen understanding of the sensory, his design approach focuses on challenging the conventional—all the while revering the tenets of structure, symmetry, volume, and composition. His passion for environments, and their unique role in the enrichment of daily life, is a driving force in Alta’s work.

To complement Alta Project’s core services, Tito continues his real estate practice at COMPASS in Los Angeles. He is licensed as an agent in California & New York—representing home buyers, sellers and investors locally, as well as nationally through trusted partners.

He received his B.A. from the University of Illinois.

Tawni Bannister
Principal

Tawni is the feeler, dreamer, and image-maker

A Southern California native, her design work is characterized by a strong, dynamic spirit—incorporating deft use of color with an honest and earthy sensibility. She spent years as a photo editor in New York City—producing and shooting stories for Seventeen, Billboard, & Tidal Magazine—prior to fully bringing forth her independent work.

Her following years as a commercial photographer and director in New York and Los Angeles have been marked by great imagination and execution—lending her intuition for deeply emotive, yet accessible compositions to well respected brands and outlets such as The New York Times, Teen Vogue, Estée Lauder, Nordstrom, New York Magazine, InStyle, Rolling Stone, Allure, Net-A-Porter,  Athleta, The Hollywood Reporter, Rent the Runway, J.Crew, Samsung, ULTA, Real Simple, and Instagram.

This period towing the line between art and commerce has given Tawni the editorial dexterity to produce and capture effortlessly beautiful and influential moments that greatly impact the bottom line.  Ultimately, her greatest strength lies as an orchestrator of both the story, and the lens; adept at shaping the intangible into elevated environments that incite genuine emotion and connection.

She received her B.F.A in Advertising Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
